AXE CP vs Falcon

AXE CP vs Falcon

Post by Stev » Tue, 30 Jan 2007 14:25:44

I'm looking to move up in the micro electric heli world now that
I've done everything that can be done with my Blade CX (admittedly,
not much).  I've heard good reviews of the Falcon (Hobby Lobby) and
I'm also looking at the AXE CP (Tower).  The Falcon comes brushless
with lipos, while the AXE has a 9 cell NiCd pack and a 380 motor.

Anybody with a preference between the two?  Horror stories
involving either one?

Thanks,
Steve

AXE CP vs Falcon

I purchased the Falcon 3D about three weeks ago and I LOVE IT!!!!!

This is my first ship, and I am glad I went this way.  The parts are
very reasonable and yes I have ordered some.  Most of my flying has
been in about 14 degree weather so the part do get brittle, which the
two "mishaps" so far cost me a total of $12.

I bought an Axe CP, I have read amny stories of how great it is, I have
yet to be able to fly it. Apparently my model has some mizing
problems...but at least their support is awesome, and very fast in
response. as far as the falcon is concerned, looks very nice, but it is
$100 more than the axe. Also, from what I gather, the axe is an
excellent beginner that will allow you to do some tricks...
