What are some of the pros and con's from some one that flys them.
Also whish is the best all around gasser.
Fuel is one-tenth the cost of nitro.
They're supposedly not as aerobatic as 60-size helis, but I don't know that an
average pilot will notice the difference.
They are more stable because they are heavier.
They crash a lot harder because they are heavier (I now know this for a FACT!)
A gasser comes with an engine. If you are just starting out, you'll find that
it costs about the same as a 60-size heli, because you won't need as much field
Gassers are cleaner.
You have to carry gas around and it smells.
Parts are more expensive than a smaller heli.
Here's my opinion on which is best. I fly the Xcell and it's a great heli. A
buddy flies the Bergen, and I like his even better. as it has fewer parts and
some better quality parts--but it's more expensive, too. The Ergo gasser way
fewer parts but I haven't seen a decent quiet muffler for it yet.
