CCPM Mixing? JR 783? 8103?

Post by LV RCFly » Mon, 05 Apr 1999 05:00:00

Hello all,

Was just curious about radios and CCPM mixing.  Is the JR XP783 capable to
do it, or must I go with an 8103 to have that option available?  Thanks for any
info!

You can have your 783 setup for it. You have to send it away, but the 8103's
are already set up for it..

Another option, if you want to save some $$$ on a radio, is to buy a little
converter box that Morley/Quick UK sells.  This thing takes collective, roll,
and pitch channels from your RX, and converts them to 3 or 4 channel CCPM
signals.  I'm using one, and it works great!  It costs somewhere around $35.
Check it out....

The American 8103 does not always have it turned on. In some cases like mine,
you have rto send the radio in to Horizon to have it turned on. It's free of
charge except for postage.
