Be sure to get hold of the autorotation hub - this will prevent you from
stripping the main gear ecvery time you shut down the throttle.
Other than that the only problem I had was that the main shaft was
slightly too large in diameter. I solved this by chucking it up in a
hand drill and wiping it with emery as it revolved in the drill. If you
need to do this then be careful not to take too much off, and note that
the heat generated by the friction of this method will cause the
diameter to increase with so it may seem bigger than it is (iyswim). If
you let it cool down before testing for size you should be OK. Or
maybe Ikarus have fixed this problem now ?
Also, it's not important, but the screws that hold the frames together
are M2x8mm crossheads and they are a royal pain to do up, Kavan make
some nice M2x8 screws with a hex head and if you can lay your hands on a
packet of these for a couple of quid it'll make (re)assembly a bit
easier. Not essential by any means though...
