I have this gyro.  It works well for me.  Easy to set up.  Holds well.  Best
used with a high speed servo (I have JR 8700G).  Doesn't seem to suck too
much power from the battery.

If its anything like the Helimax Governor save your money, The Governor is a
piece of CRAP..

I do not agree with Craig.  I have owned and used both the Futaba GV1 and
the CSM 540, and set up properly, the Heli Max HH Gyro and the Heli max Gov
work equally as well.  As a matter of fact, I let an expert at the field fly
bird with both the Heli max Gov and Gyro in it, and he could not quit
commenting on how locked in the tail and head speed were.

No piezo gyro's suck much power from the battery, but the servo that's
attached to it can.
