Sure Did, Mine's the Hughes 300 Scweitzer kit from  the Concept EP.
Looks way cool, very easy to convert if you have a little patience. 2
other guys from my club did this as well, and they all fly great. I
haven't seen the scales fuselages like the Hughes 500 or the Bell ranger
availible yet anywhere here in the US, but according to the heli-guys at
Kyosho, they will be bringing them in some time next year. BTW, me and
one of the other guys in the club are going to down load pictures of our
LMH conversions on the web
soon. If you want I'll keep your e-mail and mail you out the site when
we're done.

That Hobby Shop guy mustve been me =0).

Im Jason, the kid you talked to at the Hobby Shop.  After you left, another LMH
pilot actually had brought his heli in for me to look at (clutch trouble) and
we were able to see that the Jet Ranger fuse would fit, but it would be a
little extra work...about 4 hours or so.  I just wonder how that little Norvel
engine will be able to put up with the  extra heat it will have enclosed in the
body.  Im glad to hear Kyosho may be sending the scale EP bodies to the US...I
just dont expect them to be cheap!  Good luck, and if you ever need any help,
feel free to email me or stop by the store.

Thank you! and please do email me the address of those pics when they get
online.  I am most interested in fitting a fuse to my LMH110.

Seems like only a matter of time before someone gets the hint and starts
offering some scale fuse kits for this heli, can't wait!

One final question, how does the Norvel do inside of a fuse, what about the
exhaust spray-Jason and I are wondering...

LMH 110 Fuselage

Post by docpreg » Tue, 31 Aug 1999 04:00:00

(Follow up to my previous post about fueselages for the LMH110.)

I called around like crazy looking for LMH110 fuselages, to no avail.  I
even got (much to my surprise)Paul Arlton on the phone at Light Machines, he
said that he knew of the Concept EP fuses being fitted to it, but that was
it.  he mentioned that one guy fitted the LMH into a Kyosho Hyperfly Apache
fuse, but the gears hung out the back :-(

So with this in mind I went on a mission to find any Concept EP bodies that
I could.  Turns out that the only one available in the USA is the Schweitzer
300, not my favorite.  The Hughes 300 and 500 are available in Japan but not
here in the US.  Tower is trying to see if they can get me either kit, I am
waiting for there return call.

Will keep everyone up to date.  In the meanwhile, anyone else done this sort
of thing?  MIB said he fitted the EP concept Schweitzer 300 and it looked
cool, MIB-could you give me some more details on how you fit it,
modification to fit it and how the engine is coping with the fit?

LMH 110 Fuselage

FYI,
I have an EP kit from Japan with the Hughes 500 body. The Kyosho EP bodies are
all made of that vinyl-plastic kinda stuff and pretty tough and light. Tower
carries the 300 body and the 500 body for the EPs in their "full" catalog if
you look in the ep section. Body is about 50 bucks or so with all the bits.I'm
not sure about the Jetranger body..
