service for helis

Hi, I am new to helicopters after flying planks for a while and am
totally hooked :) I have several planes that will be collecting dust for
awhile. I didn't have anyone at my field that flew helis well so I
learned using a CSM sim and have hovering down pretty well with no
mishaps but have yet to get into forward flight. My question (finally)
is what service should be done to my heli to keep it in good condition.
I am flying a basic Hawk/OS. What parts drive, wire etc., need to be
lubricated and how often. I have about 2 gallons through the heli and
there seems to be minimal wear. The second question I have is that while
I don't have a tach yet I notice that after half tank fuel the
engine/head speed increases which I counter through settings in my
radio. Is this caused by less pressure in the tank and my not using a
header tank (the fuel does not foam in the tank in flight). Any help on
these questions on heli maintenance in general will greatly be
appreciated and would like to hear any opinions on good second heli (I
NEED another one quick :) Thanks in advance.

For best results, follow the manufacturers guidelines. As someone once told
me, don`t grease ball joints etc as it attracts grit and dust and acts like
an abrasive. Good luck.
