One of my customers has an old Garrard turntable (about fifties) with
tube amplifier etc.
He has the problem that the speed of the turntable is not held constant
anymore, i.e. slows down. Does anybody know a cure for this?
If he can't get it to work anymore the he would be interested in buying
a turntable with about the following specs:
- Tube preamp
- No equalizing whatsoever
- speeds 33, 45, 78, each variable by about +-8%
- 16 inch disc diameter capable
Is there such a thing?
