You'd better contact Slate Audio, 47 Gemini Close, Leighton Buzzard, Beds,
LU7 8UD (Telephone/Fax: 01525 384174)
They are Garrard specialists.

Sorry, no E-mail.

Hi,
Is there a brand name and a number on the cartridge? That is the piece that
the needle fits into. Perhaps with more information, I may be able to help
you. You can e-mail me direct.

> Two things I forgot

1- I live in the uk so I'd prefer to shop in the uk or europe, only to keep
cost down.

2- Themodel is Garrard CM-105 (it is midi size)

Thanks again

Try Hi-Fi Care in Tottenham Court Road. They can supply styli for most
record players.

That it is a Garrard is irrelevant.  Needleless (?) to say,
what you need is the brand and model number of the cartridge
itself.  Once you know that go to a TV parts house and ask
for a replacement needle for the cartridge you have.  For
example, "I need a needle for an Astatic 70TS".  And, if the
cartridge has TWO needles know which one you need (you
probably don't need the 78 RPM needle, but one never
knows!).

Also, you'll want a diamond needle, not a sapphire.  They
last much longer.
