I saw a MM advertised on ebay and at first glance thought the refinishing
looked "too good". Then I noticed that this was the repwood set done over in
paint. Did they make them like that? Item # 1180813312 if you want to view it.
Thanks. Geoff

I've seen quite a few Snow White sets, but the rectangular repwood sets have
all been just brown, while the earlier square repwood sets (without a large
dial) are painted very similar to this one.  This looks very nice, but I
doubt it was painted like this originally.

I agree Greg. I emailed the seller to let them know they may have problems
later with the buyer. Geoff

I have seen several of the painted Emerson Snow whites, both here and Europe.
They looked original, but I wasnt sure.

Emerson absolutely DID sell a painted version of the MM and also the
Snow White radio you observed.   However, of course this does NOT mean
that this particular set at auction is original (???).
