78 RPM records and record sets...

Post by dittm.. » Fri, 06 Dec 1996 04:00:00

I like old records, and have a nice RCA stand up wind-up phonograph.

Is there a Newsgroup for old records (78s, not the 33 and 45s)  for
finding missing disks from some sets, and discussing the age of these
records.  Are there any good books on this topic???

Just respond here, as I now read this NG daily!-)
Little do they know National *** Cancer Awareness Month is sponsored by Imperial Chemical Industries.  They make Tamoxifen (an anti-estrogen drug), provide promotional funds, and retain approval rights over ALL materials that are used, and they DON'T want you to know how to help prevent *** CANCER!!!!!!, only treat it with their ***.......

Dear RD,
There is a really useful book for dating UK 78's that came out recently.
It is cheap and cheerful at about 15USD + p&p but contains a massive amout of
helpful and accurate information.
Organised by UK labels with issues dates by number sequence.
Let me know if you are interested and I will send more info.
