Yes you should buy the MK2 grate car right out of the box. Yes the front
bearing will leak a little when ran rich when new. You can replace front
bearing with a Dynamite Super Seal. no more leak. hope this helps

I am looking at purchasing a Pure 10 MkII but I have heard from numerous
people that the GS11-R engine has an oil leak from the front bearing
from new.
Is this a common problem and can it be fixed???
Should I look at buying something else????

You can fix the leak for about a dollar with a o -ring (seal type, cut in
half it looks an 8) fit behind the bearing and the leaks gone

The MkIIs are very nice starter cars... however, if your budget can stretch
then get a World Cup Edition. Maybe more expensive initially but after you
have modified your normal MKII it will definitely cost more than a WC. The
WC is absolutely loaded, you will only have to replace the parts you break
or wear out. Also a WC with a NovaRossi C12 engine is a deadly combination,
junk the original 40 tooth second speed and go for a 37 and you practically
have a plane!! (The C12 can handle the big step down... the problem is
whether you have the nerve to go that fast and the road to do it on!)
