My Car is acting Wierd! Help

Post by Laur » Mon, 24 Sep 2001 06:34:50

Hi,
Hope someone can help me.
I bought my daughter a car at a garage sale (its a batmobile!) and I
put new batteries in it. It works great, but all of a sudden it will
start to go
on its own!! I cant find any kind of loose wires inside and it does
not seem to do it when I jiggle it anyway. It has a "ghost in the
machine" !
Its a really cute toy and I don't mind taking it apart if someone can
tell me what to look for. thanks Laura

How far away from the transmitter is it when it seems to go crazy? It could
simply be getting out of the transmitter's range....:)

Sounds mainly like it's worn out. Not worth it to spend any time on it at
all.

I would hazard a guess that now you know why you bought it at a garage
sale...

I've done that before!!  Upstairs looking out my window at the kids across
the ally, they were driving around a tyco truck so I decided to have a
little fun.  They seemed to be getting really angry and finally just gave up
and went inside.  HAHAHAHA.  The jerks were mean to my dogs so they had it
coming.

Laura, it could just be interference (unless it happens EVERYTIME then it's
likely to be something else).

Matt

oh crap.. i had this one possessed r/c that'll chase after me every
time i walked in front of it.. really! one time I set it down, turned
and walked away but just then it started grumbling, inched a little
forward and went full speed right at my ass.. *** I ran like a ***
and it finally veered to the left and crashed into a garbage can. It
broke and I tossed it in the trash but I swear to god one day it'll
come back after me and*** me in my sleep.
