1500's have lower voltage than any other cell I've seen or tested and
I've tesed 15's, 14's, 12's and 17's.  1500's are NOT fast charge, fast
discharge cells, they get warmer than their conterparts becaue they are
not designed from the manufactuerer to be rapid charge, rapid discharge
cells.  They are no where near as durable as 1400's or 1700's.

1400's are the economy cells to buy.  Duratrax makes prepackaged stick
packs for about $20.  They are about as low budget as I would recommend
buying as the voltage is lower than actual Sanyo's but they are still
fairly good.  If you can spend $35, get actual Sanyo red cells, the
voltage is higher, and the cells are more durable.  If you run mod or
want the runtime, Sanyo Black 1700 SCRC are the way to go.

1500s are SC cells not SCR.  It is understood that these don't have as
high an output as SCR/SCRC cells.  I do know people who do run them.  I ran
them when I first started out.  The best packs to buy right now would be the
1400s.  Trinity's Maxzilla is a matched 1400 pack.  They are not 'THE' cells
but they work just fine.  You normally can almost buy two good 1400 packs for
the price of a good 1700.  Plus shop around at the local track or hobbyshop and
see if anyone has any good used ones.  I have been fortunate to buy the
majority of my high-end packs either at drastically reduce prices or slightly
used.
