FireHawk vs X Star Motor

FireHawk vs X Star Motor

Which is better a Firehawk or a X-Star Motor?  If these aren't the best
stock, which is. Please if you know the RPM of these motors or of any
others in Particular, let me know.

Thanks,

Cain

As far as I'm concerned, there is NO comparison.  The X-Star wins hands
down.  I have yet to get a Firehawk to put out anything better than
mediocre power.  However, I have a few X-Stars that really scream and I
really like them.  The only bad thing about the X-Stars is that the amp
draw is a little high.  The fire hawks seem to be a bit more efficient
but they don't make any real power.

As far as RPM, I would say that the X has more at no-load and full laod.
The numbers on the dyno depending on what voltage you test with so peak
RPM is not a consistent item even between 2 of the same motors due to
differences in spring tension, comm wear, brush compound, how it was
wound by the machine, and the list goes on.

Overall, the X-Star is better, IMHO
