I've have a Super Ten and a Pure Ten car. I don't know mutch about the
Tamiya GT 10.
-Super Ten cars are quiet fast and good built. I think Super Ten cars are
the best 1:10 cars built ever! But they are not so cheap (about 700 SFr.).
-Pure Ten cars are cheaper (about 480 SFr.), and not so fast, but they'r
good anyway. They are a little smaller but they'r very popular 8 of 10 cars
I see on my racing-area are Pure Ten cars. Upgrade those two cars first with
a better pipe and a two shifting gear and they will run like devil!

I hope it will help you
pad

(Sorry for my shitty english!)

Hi,
I've raced a pure ten for a year now and think they're pretty good. Get the
two speed transmission and the tuned pipe and it will be pretty quick.

If you can afford it, get the world cup chassis as it comes with most of the
options (except ball diffs) that you'll need for racing.

If you buy the normal pure ten you'll probably end up buying most of the
options anyway and it's a lot cheaper to get them in the World cup chassis.

Hi,

Since you're in Singapore, the Super Ten is very popular as there
are frequent races for this class.
Its also quite affordable and there are many people
who have it just for racing in the Super Ten races.
I think its quite good in my opinion just need
a 2speed and a tuned pipe to make it go fast.
If you're gonna race just get the tuned springs and proper tyres
and thats it.

There are a ton of hop ups for this car ! Its unbelievable
for every part there is an aluminium one available and
some of the hop ups are really trick.

The Pure Ten cars are just starting to emerge here .
But no races yet carried out for it.
Also i don't have a P10 so i'm not too sure.

Hope that helps,
Hafit:)

Yap Tin,

Hafit is right, I owned both the P10 and S10 as part of my collections.  The
S10 is fun to play and it's a true hobby car where you'll just can't stop
spending money on it.  The P10, however is the proper race car with the very
accurate scale specification.  Like the OS-12CVs engines are more suited for
P10 but S10 is between 12 thru15cu low torque enginees.

As for the parts and aftermakets, S10 has tonnes, but again P10 is slowly
emerging to the extent that the P10 now cost more than the S10 that I
purchase 1 year ago!  I personally own 4 S10 to 1 P10, so you see ... S10 is
fun with many setup options that are similar to the 1/8s.
