RS4 was designed to compete directly against the GP10s and other similar
cars in its class. These are true 1/10 scales whereas the Super Ten
falls into a category between 1/8 and 1/10 scale. A good comparison
would be between the Super Ten and Tamiya TGX. This larger 1/10 scale
racing has very few fans in the states but is very popular in Japan and
many parts of Asia. Getting back to the subject, the Nitro RS4, Yokomo
YR4GP, and Kyosho GP10s, all fall into the same class of racing and are
equally competetive. The Kyosho is the most poorly equipped car box
stock with the YR4GP being the best. I would shy away from the Yokomo
kit because it is rather old and parts are hard to come by. I would
however recommend either a RS4 or GP10s as they are comparably priced
and easier to buy and get parts for. A best deal would be the Nitro RS4
if you do not plan to compete. If you do plan to compete either would be
fine. Reason being that you will eventually replace most of the parts on
each car anyhow. This is purely sedan talk here, if you want the
ultimate in 1/10 racing gas pan cars are the only way to go.
