There are two basic steps to framing it.
1. Put a zinc came border on it. Basic widths for the zinc came are 9/32, 3/8
and 1/2 inch. I'd recommend 3/8" for that sized project. Miter the corners for
strength and good looks, solder the corners and wherever solder lines intersect
the border zinc came. If you want the came to match the patina of the solder
lines, get some Solder Magic Action Tin, (it's like a solder paint for tinning
with an iron) and tin the whole border. Wash your project with Dawn dishwashing
liquid (ONLY DAWN!) or if thats not available Oxy-Stop or Classique Flux
Neutralizer. Then apply the patina and finish by polishing up with Kem-O-Pro
Finishing Compound. Buff to a fine finish.
2. If you want a wooden frame, then just by the wood stock, cut to size, insert
the panel with the zinc came border attached and hang the durn thing. (-:
