How can you cut glass with shears/tin snips or scissors?
As long as you keep the glass COMPLETELY SUBMERGED in water, it will just
sort of crumble under the shears. Let any portion get out of the water while
you are doing this, and you get broken glass. The water damps out the
vibrations that would normaly cause the glass to crack. I've cut many a
flashlight disk out of flat glass this way.
You gotta try it.
