>Does anyone knows anything about windshield repairing ?
http://www.crlaurence.com It is a nationwide company with more than a dozen
warehouses and a serious catalog (that costs $35, with a $50 refund on your
first order over $500). They are a major supplier to auto and other glass
They list a UV12 for $119.95 that seems to be a low level vacuum sucking UV
epoxy repair kit and an ARK1000 at $1446.00 that is a major serious complete
windshield repair setup. From what I read in the catalog, it seems you pick
away at the crack a bit to get odd stuff out, seal the crack area with things
like suction cups and turn on a vacuum to pull the epoxy in, which is used in
tiny amounts - a few ounces is listed as being enough for 100 treatments. They
have a video for sale on using the equipment.
