Lamp Parts

Post by Vince Bane » Fri, 17 Oct 1997 04:00:00

I have found many good lamp bases at flee markets or estate sales.
Most of the time they need a little loving care, new wire, and
a new socket.  But, for less than ten bucks, I have built many
a stained glass lamp that ends up looking like it is 50 years
old.

Most of the time, I but lamps just to t=get the spare parts needed
for other project.  Keep looking for lamps of any condition and
begin swapping the parts around.

Otherwise, most hardware stores have the electrical parts needed.

Delphi Stained Glass has 5 pages of lamp bases in their catalog.

Texas Lamp Manufacturing, Forney Texas,505 E. Highway 80,
972-564-5267, has virtually any part you can imagine for assembling lamps.
They have a catalog and have more parts in small quantities that are not in
the catalog.
