For the folks wondering about CERF, the group that helps craftspeople
with emergencies, there is a 1/4 page notice on p. 24 of the August
American Woodworker now on newsstands. Quick description and picture
and example of a guy who already was having health problems and then
had 3 1/2 feet of Missouri floodwaters in his shop...

CERF is the Craft Emergency Relief Fund, a national non profit that provides
financial and other assistance to professional craftspeople who have suffered
career threatening emergencies such as natural disaster, illness, accident,
theft, etc.  They have a website:  www.silversmithing.com/cerf if you want more
information.

Thanks for the reminder about this important group.
