Hi, fellow beadmaking and beading friends.  I need your help!  I had a
binder with a lot of articles (from the past 3 years)  from Lapidary
Journal, Ornament, Bead and Button, and Jewelry Crafts.  These articles
were about beadmakers and about beadmaking.
Somewhere, between starting the So. Bay Society of Beadmakers, art fairs,
and Tuscon - my binder got lost.
If you have an extra copy or do not need the articles on beadmakers or
beadmaking, I'd sure appreciate it if you would contact me via email.
I'll make sure to keep a log of which issues, articles, and who is sending
me a copy (I only need the articles, not the entire magazine) - so that I
don't unnecessarily collect articles that other beadmakers might ask for
later.
Your help would be much appreciated.  Not only is it a resource for
myself, but I share this information with new beadmakers in our society
and to people unfamiliar with beadmaking and bead artists at the art
fairs.  It's definitely an educational resource.
And, if and when, Kim, Leah, and I get our book done - it'll provide a
source of information to many readers (as a bibliography), and a listing
of artists whose works we want to feature in the book.
MANY, MANY thanks in advance!

I know it seems impossible, but I'm looking for original articles (not
xerox copies).  Many thanks!

Hi Stephanie:

Here are two sites for flameworking supplies and equipment:

Arrow Springs - http://www.innercite.com/~flameon/welcome.html
Gossamer Glass - http://www.nas.com/~gossamer/

I've ordered a catalogue from Arrow Springs via email, and received it
within a week or so.  Trish

Arrow Springs in Shingle Springs, CA, especially for their
mandrel release and bead shaping tools.  They are on the
Web, too.
