Need: Sand Scene Picture Frame instruction

Hello everyone,

I am interesting in receiving information how to make the SAND SCENE
frames that are sold in specialty novelty stores.

This is the type of frame that is squished together, and in between
two glasses.....sand is poured in, along with a type of liquid that
makes the sand change form when the frame is turned over.

Many thanks in advance for your advice.

I'm not sure what you mean, since I've never seen the gadget you
describe, but if you want to make a thin space between two panes of
glass, you could cut four thin strips of glass and glue three of the strips
along the edge of the face of one of the panes with silicone aquarium
cement as spacers. Then glue the second pane onto this assembly,
leaving a thin space inbetween the two panes. When the glue has dried
(overnight) you can pour in the sand and fit the final strip into the
open edge to seal the assembly with glue.
