Glass Figure Cases

Help
I am looking for info on how to make glass figurine cases similar to the
domes.
However I want to make square or rectangle types that will fit onto wooden
bases.
These would be various sizes since the figurines are only 25mm size.
Any help, tips, on names of books would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Because of the tiny size of the figurines (1"), this would be lampwork blown
into rather easily made molds with some grinding or sawing to even off the
bottom.  An adjustable mold could easily be made.
Of course, the corners will distort the image and there is no reason a round
groove for the cover couldn't be cut in a wood base with a hole saw.
