Greetings

I'm working with a web designer to get my website designed and running.  The
look I want can best be achieved by using frames.  My designer cautioned me
about using frames because not everybody can read frames.  I am wondering if
anybody out there today really can't see frames?  If you surf the web without
a frames cabable browser please Email me.  With netscape, that's netscape 2 or
earlier.

Hi! Bert,

You may want to consider the following issues when using frames:

Most search engines (particularly the biggies) don't index framed
pages.

Bookmarks don't work properly.

Printing is non-intuitive.

Navigation doesn't work properly in older browsers.

Costs more. You have to do the noframes version anyway.

Most of what you want to achieve with frames can be done with
tables.

Hope that helps,
Ingrid
