Does anybody know about hte video tape for poly clay that was reviewed in
this months issue of Lipidary jouirnal --It's called Mastering the New
Clay the Beginning Workshop -- and it is made by Tory Hughes.

I've seen it... It is very basic. More for people who haven't done
anything with clay yet. Her other videos are great tho.

Anything by Tory Hughes is WONDERFUL. Even if you're not new at this,
chances are you'll find something new to you in any one of her tapes.

I agree that just about anything by Tory is wonderful- EXCEPT for that
particular tape. It is VERY basic and covers very little. I think a
beginner would be better off getting started by buying Nan Roche's book
(half the amount of money of that tape) and it will serve for a long time.

Tory's other tapes are excellent and I would recommend them.

     Tory's beginning tape is just that, for beginners.  It's extremely
good, however, and even if you've worked with the clay, it's a valuable
refresher.  She has a lot more tapes, every one of them a jewel.  You
can't go wrong by buying, renting or whatever ALL of her tapes.  I've
seen them at least four times each and find something new each time.  Go
for it!
