Moving Forward (after Arrowmont) polymer clay show

Hello, polyclay lovers. If you live or are visiting anywhere near the Washington
DC metro area, please come to the opening reception for the new National
Polymer Clay Guild's show this Thursday night, October 15, from 7 to 9 pm.  The
art and craft pieces in the show will no doubt be great -- so let's make it a great
party too!

The show is on display at Strathmore Hall Arts Center, a lovely old converted
mansion in North Bethesda.  The address is 10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda
20852; the phone number is (301) 530-0540.  The hall is on the northeast corner
of the crossroads or Tuckerman Lane and Rockville Pike -- a mile or two up
toward Rockville from the NIH campus, and not far from the junction of the
Beltway (Rt. 495) and Rockville Pike. For Metro riders, Strathmore Hall is just
across Tuckerman from the Grosvernor stop on the Red Line. If you can't make it
Thursday night, or if you want to go back, the show is up now and will run
through November 11.

You get two shows in one. The joint regional crafts guild, Potomac Craftsmen, is
holding its annual holiday juried show in the rest of the building; so there will be
plenty to look at, many new people to meet, and fine gift-buying opportunities.
Several members of the Potomac Polymer Clay Guild have work in this show.

It's gonna be fun, folks! -- Georgia
