I finally gave up on my crafter's bookclub and ordered your miniatures book
through amazon.com.  It's great--they're so realistic it's incredible.  Now i
finally have the help i need to convince my sister to make her miniatures with
polyclay instead of buying them all.  We're going to have a clay party when i
go home to visit!

Wow!  When will you be in Chicago, Sue?  We St. Louis fans are only 5 hours

I am GREEN with envy!  A workshop in Chicago!!  Does anyone know if Sue Heaser
plans any workshops on the east coast???

We have loved that miniatures book, too!  I would really like a chance to take
a workshop from her.

I'm really blushing over here - you are all very kind and thanks so much
for your enthusings. Writing these books is long and hard - the
illustrations alone take months of work - but such positive feedback
makes it all wonderfully worthwhile!

Apart from the Chicago workshops mentioned in this thread, I am giving
workshops after Ravensdale (18th & 19th August) in San Diego at the Clay
Factory - details from the San Diego Guild. I'm really sorry not to be
coming to the East Coast this year - so many people have now asked me
and I will make it a priority on my next US trip!

I have never posted here but have to add my two cents...
As a complete newbie, I followed the instructions from a web page for
your 'flower fairy'... I was so impressed with your directions (and the fact
that my fairy turned out!) that I bought your jewelry book, and I just love
it!  Your instructions are sooo clear, and your illustrations are
terrific.  With
some more practice from your book, I think I'll feel confident enough to
tackle something original :)
