Dragon Swap?

Post by Ne » Sat, 15 Jul 2000 04:00:00

Hi all!

I saw a brief reference to a Dragon swap that took place last year (?). Will
there be another this year? And does anybody have any pictures of last years?

TIA.

Dragon Swap?

I hosted the "Great Dragon Swap" of January 99 and am hosting the present
one
( Millinium / Year of the Dragon Swap) as well, to be mailed by Nov. 30 of
this year. Presently we have 25 participants ( last year's started with 43
and ended with 35, after drop outs)  As of yet I haven't stated a closed
date on this one, so I will now!  July 31 is the last day to  join in the
fun!  This'll give everyone   You don't have to make a dragon for
everyone...just in groups of 5, and you'll get back the same amount you
send.

For anyone interested, the url for the "Great Dragon Swap of '99" is
http://home.i1.net/~tedmonds/LunaCat/DS/DragonSwap.htm

pat
( I'm not too 'vocal' in newsgroups, but read each day...have been in over
100 swaps, and have hosted 5, soon to be 6.  First 'touched' poly clay ....
yikes...25 years ago,  retouched 12 years ago, and have been much more avid
in the last 5 since discovering pc newsgroups and pc books!)

(Loud whine!!)  Oh, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna!!  But I'm *buried* in stuff
to do!!  Pat, could you accept me on a "hope to find time to do this
again!!" basis?  Might only be able to make five or so... but it was just
*so* much fun last time!!  (Of course, this means I'm going to have to
shrink my work again, sigh...)

Cool!  A link!  I only started my web page about a year ago, and it still
astounds me that anyone has looked at it.  Can't quite wrap my brain around the
marvels of modern communication.

The fact that someone actually looks at my website, however, means that I need
to get in there and work on it.  Since my reputation rides on it, and all.
