Here is a new addition with apologies to The King....

Are you Claying Tonight......

Are you claying tonight
Is your workspace a fright
Are you finding your powders and beads?
Does your pasta queen wind to a simpler time
When promat fulfilled all your needs?
Do the frames on your mantle seem plain and so bare?
Do you gaze at the brass ones and see skinner blends there?
Are you starting to cane, shall I condition again?
Tell me dear, are you claying tonight?

(spoken)
I wonder if you're claying tonight
You know someone said that the worlds a conference
And everyone must pay up front.
Fate had me going to Ravensdale, not Arrowmont.
Act one was when I picked up that first black sculpey block
It became a face so easily, and never made me glue.
Then came act two, it seemed soft and too warm
And my pieces didn't form, not like I wanted them to.
Premo, you're not able to replace promat
And I had no cause to doubt you.
But I will have to buckle down and make due
Cause the clay world can't seem to be without you.
Now the clay table is bare, and I am sitting there
With sculpted faces all around
And if no one will buy them
Then make them bring the handy chopper down.

(sung)
Are you making a cane? Shall I condition again?
Tell me dear, are you claying tonight?

Everyone runs for hokey pokey
It's the natural thing to do! --Richard Thompson

Tommie,
This was great!!!  Are you going to be doing Elvis at Ravensdale?  Set a
cup out and entertain.  With all those clay ***s there, you can take
all the courses you want.

Hey, Tommie----Another great song!    I like it the best so far!   Elvis is
probably at your house at the last siting---right?

Keep up the great lyrics, we love them!

Tommie,

I agree with everyone else - this is my new favorite song.

Next time I hear that The King has been spotted, I won't know if they're
talking about Elvis or Tommie!

Bravo!

Tommie----

ROTFLMAO---That was truly inspired.  Elvis is turning green with envy (If he
isn't quite green and moldy already, that is)

See ya at Ravensdale.  You will definitely be hard to miss.

Oh .....this......is.......the limit!

Are we nuts or what?!

We are certainly painting a polymer world in here on this group. Can you simply
imagine a stranger to polymer tuning in to this group and reading about our
total and complete absorbtion of this medium? Our songs, our discoveries, our
accidents turned into new techniques? Our unbelievable enthusiasium! It rubs
off you know! I get allll fired up explaining to people all of the above and
they just stare wide eyed trying to digest my e***ment.

.......and she had fun, fun, fun till her hubby took the polymer away....
