I've just checked with the Art League School in Alexandria, VA and there are a
few spaces left in the upcoming Tory Hughes Workshop December 6th & 7th. This
is a not to be missed event! It is not to late to register. For more info 703

Creative Earring Design: Beyond the Drop and Button

Elegant, exuberant, ethereal- earrings can be so much more than dangles, hoops
or buttons! Do you want a fresh approach to earring design? Come explore with
us as we approach this topic more conceptually, and create a wide variety of
earring styles! We'll consider line, movement, color and shape, integrating
polymer clay in all of its versatile lightweight glory with different types of
wire and materials. We'll work with the volumne and space around the ear and
the neck, as well as the attachment to the ear itself. We'll finish with at
least 8 different pairs of earrings. Best of all we will take back to our
studios a new awareness of earring design possibilities!

I'd be interested in knowing who else is going .... I just sent my
registration in, and it would be nice to "know" someone who's there.
