Hello everyone!

I have come to the conclusion that the course of the reading-problems with
some mails (like P?rr?'s posts) lies with some newsservers. It seems that
some servers change the encoding incorrectly while transmitting the posts
through the Internet. This seems to happen only with posts encoded as
"Quoted Printable".

As the result of this I beg everyone on this newsgroup to NOT USE Quoted
Printable in favour of the readers that have problems with such posts.

I'm sorry that I couldn't do more than this as you are all so helpfull.

cu, Jan Neumller

First of all: thank you all for helping me with this problem. Unfortunately
I can not help with this myself. In the system and the program I am using
(First Class ) the user can not choose how the messages leave from the
server. The reason my service provider has set the system to "Quoted
Printable" is because a third part's systems were messing with attachments
with the messages sent from online. I have been assured that after that
third part, Kolumbus, has made their reparation to their systems, we are
getting back to business as usual.
In the mean time I beg you to forgive me if you get messy messages.

My thoughts exactly.

Once again: please try to be patient. We should be getting back to the way
we were...

Porro... I suspect we'd all rather read your *messy* messages.... than have no
messages from you at all. <grin>
