No problem here -- did your preferences somehow get changed?

Jill:
I have Windows & Outlook Express and have never had a problem.  Guess
I'm just lucky, but no problem here.  I'm on cable, so don't know it
it's server problem or what.  I used to have a lot of those problems
when I was on AT&T and after my harddrive crashed, I upgraded and no
problems since.

I thank all of you who posted answers to my dilema.   My husband decided to
reinstall the newsgroup and it fixed the problem.

I am back on!!

Thanks Again.

I'm new to this group and  have a similar problem.  After that whole
Melissa thing my company froze any email access from outside.  Now every
time I go into my subscribed newsgroups it indicates that there aren't
any new messages.  I'm subscribed to 10 groups and all show the same
every morning that I access them.  Can someone tell me what I should
do?  I don't have software to reinstall since my company has an
agreement.

If your company is stopping them from getting through, then I doubt you can
do anything to get them at work.  I don't see why you wouldn't be able to
access them at home unless you don't have a computer and an ISP.

News Group problem

I had a problem recieving some of my newsgroups. I opened the tools section
of outlook and wrote down the address for the news server. Then I deleted
the account and set it up again. So far everything is working great.
