Looking for Polymer Clay Videos

Post by Mskidn » Fri, 04 Dec 1998 04:00:00

Hi,  I'm a beginner and am interested in buying videos demonstrating the
different technicques for polymer clay.  Are there any "must-have" videos and
if so, where is the best place to buy them, (either online or off.)   Thanks!

There are only two sets of videos on polymer clay that I am aware of.
GamePlan has some, though I am not sure where to buy them.

MindStorm Productions (my company) also make several. You can buy directly
from us, or they are also carried by Clay Factory and Amazon.com.  Several
other sources have selected volumes, but those are the only generally
available sources that carry all our polymer clay tapes.

To order from us, call (800)400-7099, email me, or stop by our web site
listed below.

We also periodically notify people of new releases via email. Let me know
if you would like to be added to that list.

You forgot about me, Burt. I carry all of the Mindstorm tapes too, and at great
prices.

I believe Bette Abdu (did I spell that right?) also is producing some polymer
clay tapes. I think Lindly Haunani was supposed to be doing one through her,
and some other well-known pc artists too. Anyone know more about these?

I just saw another tape I had never heard of at our bead guild's meeting
tonight. I didn't catch the artist's name, but it was on millefiore.

I'm sure I speak for all of us by thanking all of the wonderful artists for
making such terrific videos and for sharing their skills with the rest of us.

Happy claying everyone!

Oops! mea culpa. :-)  Do you have a web site I can bookmark so I remember
to give it in the future?

She told me she was making them last June. She has not replied to any
email from me since then (including one a couple weeks ago), and I have
heard nothing of them being available. As far as I know, she never got
them out?

If anyone has other info, please let me know -- I'm real curious to see
how her tapes are too.

Dear MsKidney,

If you're interested in characters, you should definitely get Maureen
Carlson's videos (check weefolks.com)  They're great, Maureen's a
wonderful instructor and they're also packed with information.

Best of luck to you...stay healthy!

I'll agree about Maureen being a great instructor and an all-around nice
person, besides. The correct URL for her site is http://www.weefolk.com/ .
Weefolks.com is new and has nothing to do with clay.
