Congratulatons, P?RR?!  What's her name?

I've been missing you, and didn't know why you were being silent.
What a surprise!  I think you won't have much time for claying now,
but you may amaze us.  When my first baby girl was born, I was into
sewing, and that had to be put aside except for naptime.  Of course,
this little girl NEVER took naps (just slept the night through, which
was nice).  I, forgetting the "baby see, baby do" piece of wisdom,
used to hold pins in my mouth while pinning.  The next thing I see is
sweet baby daughter with a mouthful of pins!  I fished out over 20
pins, even way back in her throat, but she never was even ***ed.

So -- a warning -- polyclay looks good to eat!

According to the converter at
http://www.sciencemadesimple.com/~science/Conversion.html

50.5 centimeters equals 19.88 inches
3630 grams equals just a tad over 8 pounds.

Congratulations to the new family.

Has anyone tried their hand at the new silver clay?  I saw it advertised
and am wondering about it.  You can create your image or stamp into it
and then bake it in a kiln.  When its done its silver and not clay.  I
don't remember the price of it or how much one gets but I can look if
anayone is interested.  Please respond to my e-mail addy as well as the
list!!!

This clay is available from Paragon Industries, inc.  The ad says you can
get a free color brochure by calling 800-876-4328.  It fires to 99.9%
silver.  I haven't actually used it yet but hope to in the near future.
When I do, I'll post on how it turned out.
