Scented wax dipped pine cones

Does anyone know how to make scented wax dipped pine cones.  The ones I
saw have a thick covering of wax.  Are these dipped several times?  What
is the best way to dip a pine cone in wax?

Thanks for your help.

Just melt your wax, add color and scent.  I tie a piece of candle wicking to
the stem of the pine cones (usually doing them in pairs).  Then dip them
like you would making dipped candles, letting them cool between each
dipping, until you have them coated with the amount of wax that you like.
