Mousepad Stamps

I just read this neat idea and had to share it.  Someone figured out
that the foam that mouse pads are made of is perfect for making ***
stamps.  Just draw on the design, cut out with scissors and score any
internal lines with an exacto knife.  For a handle, make a tab of
masking tape.  Since mouse pads are cheap and readily available, this
would be great for large group kid's projects.  I can't wait to try
this myself, found it just in time to make my own wrapping paper -
with the help of Kelly, age 4.

The stuff mouse pads are made out of is Neoprene I believe.  It's the same
stuff they make wet suits out of.  I believe you can buy this material in bulk
at dive shops (for repairs, I presume).  I'm assuming it would be cheaper than
mouse pads...
