Dipping material?

Dipping material?

Post by Kerry Mitche » Fri, 14 Nov 1997 04:00:00

I come to the collected masses with a somewhat vague question.  Many years
ago, I remember a craft product (maybe called, "Dip-it"?) that was a
liquid.  You would make a frame out of wire, and dip it into this magic
stuff.  The liquid would form a film around the frame, and would then dry
into a solid membrane.  The major uses for it were flower petals and
leaves, for artificial arrangements.

Does anyone:  1) remember this?  2) know where to get some now?

Thanks for any assistance,

Kerry Mitchell

Kerry
Not much help. I remember it , my wife did it but I have not seen it in
probably 20 years and do not have any Idea if it is still available. If
it is , it is a well kept secret because I know most product.

My mother used this many years ago and I would also like to find out if it is
still made.  There are a lot of things you can do with this product and it was
great fun for us as kids - help anyone?
