Robotech Cyclone (WTB)

Post by Ravi Pillalamar » Sun, 24 Mar 1996 04:00:00

I remember a long time ago seeing a model in a toy store of one of
those Cyclones from Robotech.  It was like $6.  My parents would not buy that
for me (it was that long ago) but I've wanted one for such a long time.

Does anyone have any information regarding the whereabouts of one of these
model kits?

Thanks!

By the way, it may be lost cause but I'm also wondering where the USS
Defiant (Star Trek DS9) model is.  There isn't one yet, and this isn't
anime (I know) but someone may know something?  What company makes the
Star Trek model kits?  (email me)

There's a great anime model store here in Toronto, Canada called
Hobbies Paradise.  I bought a new transformable Robotech Cyclone model
there that came with Scott and Rand's configurations.  They also had
Rook's and Lance's convertable Cyclones.  Awesome store...but the models
were like $44.95 or something like that.

There's another very nice store in the chinatown centre as well. Can't
remember the name (hey, maybe it's the same one!). Anyways, go into the
mall (main entrance) and up the escalator to the second level. Then turn
right and keep
to the left and you'll see it. Tons of models and figures. They used to
have a lot of the ms in pockets but not so much anymore. They also have
these wicked little toys called gunballs which are pricey but worth it
since they're so darn cute! Great assortment of macross and such kits,
starting at around 10-15 and moving on up past 200!
