PG Zaku: Am I Screwed?

PG Zaku: Am I Screwed?

Post by Kishi » Tue, 23 Aug 2005 01:48:03

The PG Zaku, Char's version, lacks something that other PG kits I've
built have had, namely labels for the screws. There are 4 packs of
screws, and not a one of them labeled. Presumably there's something in
the Japanese text that differentiates them, but I can't read it.

How have others coped with this? Any ideas would be most appreciated.

TIA!

Kishin

If it's any help, scans of the PG Zaku's Construction Manual can be
found here:

(I used tinyurl.com because the actual link the page in question is
*way* long!)

Good call.

Refer to assembly guide scan page #7. Below the picture for parts tree U is
a bunch of Japanese text with some numbers after them (61, 112, 142,
61).

The lines with the star-looking symbol and the following numbers (142, 61)
are the bigger screws (the Kanji literally means "ookii", translated as
"big" ); this is the second text line. Obviously, the two other remaining
***sets are the smaller ones, (61, 112) are the smaller ones (Kanji
being "chiisai", translation "small"); this is the first text line.

If this confuses you, shoot me off an email.

Thanks a bunch, guys, I think this will be a real help. I may get this
puppy put together yet.
