---------------------------

The first line is the character name, followed in brackets is the name
of the series, then the scale and scrupturer. Other than indicated,
these figures are first to appear in this book.

BTW, I have used global replace to remove the word "kit" after
completing this list, so some errors might have been generated this
way...

There is a how-to-build section in the middle featuring a Wakana Tohno
figure (which is, well, the only figure I own that has appeared in
this book. Coincidence.)

Also, in the end, scrupturer Hirohiki Sanae demonstrates how he has
built hsi Annette Burns figure from scratch. Pretty interesting.

All in all, this book is not bad, but definitely not the best IMO. I
don't see anything "exicting" (I mean, so good I have to yell "Wow!!",
you know what I mean) as in the previous HJ figure books. (a reason
might be, because I am older now... don't get e***d that easily)

Are you talking about my favourites in ATF2001 book, or my all time
favourites?

If you are talking about my fav in AFT2001 book, it is the three Petit
Lunch figures by Kanayan-Do
http://www.FoundCollection.com/
Kanayan is an independent modeler. The work is good and stylish, but
the molding is no up to the standards you would expect from other
brandnames, say, Volks. There are lots of flaws you have to take care
of. It looks good, however.

If you are talking about my all time fav...
Max Factory 1/6 Iria is the one that instantly pops out of my head.
Was it scruptured by Chieri? Or Emiri? I hardly remember.

Goemon's Devilman Lady is good.
http://www.FoundCollection.com/

I have had high hopes on his Devilman Lady 2
http://www.FoundCollection.com/
This one has appeared on the AFT2001 book, BUT I found it
dissapointing.
His first one brings out the character of Devilman Lady very nicely,
but I don't think he is even close for his second one.

Goemon's works have always gave me mixed feelings. Some of them are
very good (Devilman Lady, Misato from EVA, Aina, etc), some are rather
poor (Rei and Asuka in swimsuit, for example).

Let's talk about some new kits instead. This one is good:
http://www.FoundCollection.com/
Very dynamic pose, nice *** expressions. The scrupter has captured
the character very well. Cheap too! I'll buy it when I see it.

Goemon's newest product:
http://www.FoundCollection.com/
Again, look at the *** expression. I love it.

Ryujin has released another Belledary a few weeks ago:
http://www.FoundCollection.com/~ryu-ns/rfile/bell3.html
I don't know... I mean, it is good, but I somehow don't like it very
much. I'll get Goemon's instead.
(to those that are considering Ryujin's Bell, there is a flaw with the
molding of her ear ring and Ryujin is not going to replace it. You
have to scratch build it instead.)

Bandai's SIC Kamen Rider Kuuga is very good. The paint job, the kind
of detailing, the posability, etc, are not things you would expect on
an action figure. It rocks! Kaiyodo's action figures can go straight
down the rubbish bin when compared to this one. It has ball joints in
all major joints, that means you can make stunning poses with him. And
the detail... the DETAILS!!! Wow!

Talking about Kaiyodo... the newest EVA-01 action figure is nice. (now
this one doesn't go down the trash)
http://www.FoundCollection.com/
The kind of detailing and paint job is comparable to SIC series. But
in terms of posability, well, no.

Nev
P.S. This will be my last post for the day. I'll be in San Francisco
in about 24 hours. Anyone in lives SF / San Jose? Know any good place
I can go visit? :>

I have both 2000 and 2001 issue. Imo, both aren't worth the price althrough
the printing is excellent. There are too few figures. For resin figures, I
recommend the one called "Replicant". It's up to 9 issues so far.
