Bandai VF-1J Valkyrie?

Bandai VF-1J Valkyrie?

Does Bandai make a 1/72 transformable kit of the VF-1J Valkyrie that
Hikaru Ichijo polited in the Macross series?  I know that they have the
VF-1S that Hikaru later pilots but what about the VF-1J?

Thanks,

No.  However, it would be easy to paint the markings yourself on any VF-1J.
I would suggest getting the VF-1S variable model ('cuz it's molded in
white, not red or dark blue, and easier to paint) and using the head and
decals from the non-transforming VF-1J.  I haven't tried this, so I won't
guarantee a perfect fit for the head, but it can't be that different.  You
might also have to paint some of the red stripes, since the decals probably
won't match up right, but that's no big deal.  And the kits are pretty damn
cheap.

Also... since the Battroid is basically a 1/72 Tomcat aircraft... you
can use photoetched detailing kits to enhance the models too!
