Jetfire/VF-1S 1/55 scale value?

Jetfire/VF-1S 1/55 scale value?

Post by larg » Sat, 11 Oct 1997 04:00:00

Hi guys, I was just wondering how much a Jetfire transformer (1/55 scale
VF-1S Macross Valkyrie toy)is worth. all of the super armor and gun pod
are intact. It's in good condition (some paint chipping on the nose) No
box or decals.

I own two Bandai Valkyries and a Korean Knock-off and I have to say that
the Jetfire is the best put together. I hear that these are exact
duplicates of the original Takatoku designs.

I'm not TOO keen to sell it, I'm mostly curious but I will entertain
offers.

Jetfire/VF-1S 1/55 scale value?

I just sold a loose Jetfire in excellent condition with all armor and
gun pod for
$113.50!  I paid $40 for the same toy four months ago.  The $113.50
certainly is
not the going price in my experience, I just got real lucky.  The going
value on
the Transformers newsgroups is about $40-$50 for one like you
described.  I
sold my Jetfire since I was able to get a VF-1S Strike complete in box
for $150.
Taking away the amount I got out of Jetfire I and what he cost me, The
VF-1S cost
me $77!

I personally like the VF-1S more than Jetfire becuase of the removable
parts on
the jetpods, wing missiles, and blast shield.  Oh yeah, that firing gun
is fun
too!

See Ya,
Matt
