Weathering Suggestions for a VF-1J

Hi
I am building the Bandai VF-1J transformable model. I usually build
modern war planes, so when it comes to detailing and weathering I
usually do a good job with a dirty 'ol F-14. Question: SInce Valkyries
are space fighters, would they require weathering like a modern
warplane? Gloss finish or flat? Dirty looking or clean? Any info would
help!

Weathering Suggestions for a VF-1J

Due to the emptiness of space, there would be little to no weathering on
the leading edges of the plane.  Maybe a little around exhaust ports and
fuel intakes.  Also a little around service hatches and possibly landing
gear doors.  Around the muzzles of projectile/beam weapons.  If that
looks to "clean" for your tastes, maybe some scorch marks from near
hits?

My two yen,

Joaquin Torres

In addition, Valkyries are transformable, so you might want to consider how it
would get dirty in both Gawalk and Battloid mode as well.
