Dengeki Translation Help

Post by huff » Wed, 01 Jan 2003 11:53:52

Hello
I've been away from the NG quite a while but I just got the January issue DH
and I need some help translating. On page 76 (top of page) there is a new
product, something called "FW Gundam". I was wondering what FW Gundam is,
trading figures? They look very Kondo / Koybayashi.

Thanks in advance
-Josh

FW Stands for "Fusion Works". It's a new line of candy-toys (action figures)
about 9 millimeters tall, actually under development in collaboration with
Volks for modeling, painting and markings. More info on next DHM issue...

Thanks MSZ-006C1
9mm tall, that's pretty small! You sure it's not 9cm tall?
But with the mere mention of Volks, that's got to be a good sign.

later thanks again.

It's 90mm = 9cm
BTW, there are tons of candy toys, for example Gundam Bottle cap
collection ones are about 4cm tall.

Ya after looking over the article again I saw "90" in there and thought must
be 90mm, darn metric :-)

Oh I know, the smaller they are the more you can have. (a 1/100 FAZZ takes
up way too much shelf space) I was trying to imagine a 9mm tall Gundam
figure, that's even smaller then a 1/144 human/pilot.

Are they smaller than the 1/1200 size MS included in the 1/1200 White Base,
Magellan, Saramis or Gaw models ?
