JUST POSTED to Stamp Auction Central
Shreves Sale - 31
February 1999 Collector's Series Sale
Sale Date: February 19, 1999

Our February Collector's Series Sale is filled with the kind
of quality and diversity our clients have come to expect
from us.

Our February sale is highlighted by three major collections.
The first is the "Crossing" Collection of premium quality
19th century United States and British North America stamps.
While U.S. specialists regularly see outstanding quality
offerings from us, Candian and B.N.A. enthusiasts will be
just as impressed with the fabulous quality and
comprehensive nature of the material found in their area of
specialty.  The United States stamp collection formed by
long-time client, Dr. Ronald Feldman, provided the sale with
many of the scarce Scott numbers that are on so many
collector's want lists.  Alan Berkun, the preeminent
collector of classic United States first day covers and
earliest usages, has decided to sell his impressive
assemblage of United States 1930 Pan-American Zeppelin
covers, all with cachets of the prominent cachet makers of
the 1920's - quite a daunting task!

With the support of all of our clients, old and new, we look
forward to offering just as many and important auctions as
we did in 1998. Please let us know how we may help you with
your buying or selling goals in 1999.  For more information
regarding this sale and catalog information, please call
