 A rare postcard mailed from the 'Titanic' April 11, 1912,
 the second day of the ill-fated voyage, will be auctioned
 June 16 by Pennsylvania stamp and cover auctioneer
 William R. Weiss Jr., senior editor Rob Haeseler reports.

 The demand for scarce on-cover uses of the United States
 Presidential series definitive stamps of 1938 continues
 unabated. Two covers bearing Presidential stamps sold for
 $596 and nearly $474 on the Internet auction house eBay

The May 28 issue also has a contender for Jay Leno's Headlines.  On page 22,
the headline reads "Liberia honors Trudeau, other heads of state" and there are
two images of stamps illustrating the story.  The first image shows the late
Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.  The second image shows monkeys and
dogs.  Granted that some countries aren't too choosy when selecting a head of
state, I don't think that's quite what Linn's had in mind.
