The First Day of Issue ceremony for the gummed versions of the 32 cent
Flag Over Porch stamp design will be held on May 19 in conjunction with
ROMPEX '95 at 9:00 A.M. at the Holiday Inn, I-70 at Chambers Road, in
Aurora, Colorado. At this event the U.S. Postal Service will officially
introduce four new versions of the Flag Over Porch design which first
appeared in a self-adhesive format on April 18, 1995. The new stamps are
produced in panes of 100, coils of 10,000 by Stamp Ventures, coils of 100,
500, and 3000 by the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and in
booklets of 20. The printers use different colors of ink for their
stamps, thus creating identifiable versions of the coil stamps.
ROMPEX '95 is creating official programs for these stamps and will be
offering these programs to the general public after the ceremony.
Programs will contain one of the pane stamps, pairs of each printers coil
stamps, a pair of booklet stamps and will be canceled with the official
First day of Issue post mark. The cost is $5.50 post paid from ROMPEX '95
FD-I Cachets, P.O. Box 2353, Denver, CO 80210-2353.

available of $1.50 plus an SASE. Custom covers with any stamp multiple
can be ordered for $1.50 with one stamp plus 50 cents for each additional
stamp required. CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE PROVIDED TO AVOID ERRORS.
A full set of four single-stamp covers, one for each of the four stamps
(same cachet), can be ordered for $5.00. PLEASE SEND A PROPER SASE IN ALL
