Hello All,
  I just discovered it is a Wurlitzer model 1650 - not a 1250 as advertised.
Irregardless,  I bought it last nite and YES it works !!!!
  I would still appreciate any tips on it though !!!

The Wurlitzer 1650 was made in 1953.  Some info. about it:

                     (1) 12AX7

   Types of records played:  45 or 78 or 33 1/3
